Honeycomb Serger Hot Pad + Video Course

$19.97

Honeycomb Serger Hot Pad + Video Course The Honeycomb Serger Hot Pad brings the beauty of decorative serging to life with a quilt-inspired design that’s both functional and eye-catching. This oversized hot pad doubles as a pot holder, includes a hanging loop, and shows you the proper way to use insulated batting to protect both your hands and your work surface. This project features Sookie’s creative use of the 2-thread Flatlock stitch, showcasing the ladder side on the outside with 12-weight decorative thread for a textured, hand-stitched look. You’ll learn how to piece the honeycomb panels directly on your serger, turning traditional quilting on its head! For those with a chainstitch-capable serger, you’ll also learn how to quilt the layers and add faux binding—all by serger! Don’t have a chainstitch? No problem. A bonus video shows you how to complete the quilting and binding using a sewing machine and walking foot. BONUS videos cover: needle, thread, and presser feet options, holding thread properly and stitch finger explanation in detail, how to avoid bunching up stitches, what to do if you get skipped stitches, how to easily remove stitches, how to fix flatlock fold-overs, and more. Finished measurements 16” x 13-1/2”

**Video Course included with purchase** The Video Course is broken into 18 lessons with two hours high definition instructional video. Each lesson corresponds to a section on the printable instructions which includes 9 BONUS videos. This video course is included with the purchase of the pattern and will be added to your purchase.
